
Ellsworth National Honor Society members spent the afternoon raking yards and cleaning up around the neighborhood. They were also able to paint a welcome sign in front of the Market.

Today ECS 4th, 5th, and 10th grade students traveled to Boyne City for the annual Veterans Appreciation Day.


Life Skills students developed a “real life” experience for middle school called Life Unplugged this adternoon. Thanks to Mrs. Terryberry, Mrs. Stuck, and Mrs. Pletcher for organizing.


The ECS Graphics class is printing t-shirts for the FFA District Leadership convention next week. ECS is providing shirts for attendees from across Northern Michigan and the UP.

Congratulations to ECS fifth grade student Calista Hoeksema. Calista won first place in both the prose and poetry divisions of the 2018 Crooked Tree Young Writers Exposition. Great Job!

ECS second grade students have been participating in swimming lessons this spring at the Charlevoix Community Pool. Thanks to Ms. Bricker and Mr. Nagel for setting this up for our students.
